The Lower Lighthouse is an iconic landmark that sets the Somerset town of Burnham on Sea apart from all other seaside resorts in the UK. To my knowledge there is not another lighthouse in the world that stands on nine stilts. It can be seen in many different ways due to it's location directly on the beach of the Sedgemoor coast. The number of legs appears to vary depending on the angle of view. It can appear to have three, five, seven or the full nine. Sometimes there are pools of water left by the tide and the combination of clouds with west coast sunsets produce all kinds of moods and colours.
It's these different moods i seek to capture with my photography.
I print my photographs onto canvas and archival papers. If you are interested in a print then drop me an email
